Dad's HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Just wanted everyone to know that Dad had a very pleasant birthday thanks to all of you for calling and talking. He liked that the most. We had dinner with Jori and Vaughn topped off by a very delicious strawberry cake. Dad has been really busy this week..but that is how most of his weeks go....but he started last Sat with a baptism, Sunday brought all his normal church responsibilities plus a youth fireside. Tuesday he helped me decorate for Enrichment Night. He was supposed to have interviews during the activity but only one Bro showed up to do the nursery so Dad went in to help him. One little girl he was holding wet all over him and his suit. Wed. is our regular temple day so we left at 6:00 am and returned home at 2:30 pm. He squeezed in two interviews them we had the missionaries over for dinner and left immediately to go back to the Temple for youth baptisms for the dead. (By the way it costs us $8 in tolls every trip to the temple) Thursday of course was his birthday so he pretty much had the day to himself. Friday he helped me get stuff ready for a service project I was involved in. I started at 5 am and made 25 pans of cinnamon rolls for a bake sale. Now Dad is leaving to go conduct another baptism. Tomorrow is Sunday....that blessed day of rest ;-) I don't think retirement has started for Dad yet.
We send our love to each of you. Mom and Dad
